Director dealings: Plus500 co-founder lowers stake

(Sharecast News) - Plus500 co-founder Alon Gonen sold 2.25m ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed trading service on Friday.Gonen, who launched the firm with the help of five fellow Technion alumni back in 2008, disposed of the shares at an average price of 1,390p each, pocketing a total of £31,274,999.14.Last week, the FCA proposed a permanent ban on the sale of binary options to retail customers and restrictions on the sale, marketing and distribution of CFDs.The Financial Conduct Authority published two consultation papers to make permanent measures put in place by European regulators earlier this year, banning binary options and limiting CFDs to expert investors.
