Director dealings: Liontrust CFO digs in claws after Argonaut acquisition

(ShareCast News) - Liontrust Asset Management's chief operating and financial officer Vinay Abrol and his wife have topped up their stake in the independent fund management group.On their share shopping trip the Abrols spent £121,000, buying 44,000 shares at 275p and 275.14p.Following these transactions the Abrols own 894,628 shares, representing 1.97% of the issued ordinary share capital of the company.A trading statement earlier this month, for the period before the company completed the acquisition of European Income Business of Argonaut Capital Partners, showed positive net inflows of £66m in the three months to the end of June, with assets under management up to £4.8bn.The acquisition will add £283m to this total and broaden the range of equity income funds with continental Europe being added to existing UK, Asia and Global funds.
