Director dealings: IG Design founder purchases shares

(Sharecast News) - IG Design revealed on Wednesday that founder and non-executive director Anders Hedlund had acquired 16.64m ordinary shares in the AIM-listed stationery product manufacturer.

Hedlund, who acquired the shares from a family controlled company in the British Virgin Islands of which he is a beneficiary, purchased the shares on Tuesday at an average price of 88p each, for a total value of £14.64m.

Following the transaction, the Hedlund family holds a beneficial interest in 22.91m ordinary IG Design shares, representing 23.31% of the current issued share capital of the company.

As of 1525 BST, IG Design shares were up 1.89% at 81p.
