The day after a share purchase from Quindell founder Rob Terry sent them soaring, shares in struggling AIM broker Daniel Stewart were sent tumbling back down by news that Adam Wilson, who acts as a consultant chief executive, had sold his entire stake. The shares had only recently been restored to trading on the London Stock Exchange following October's suspension for failing to publish its annual report on time. On 6 March the company published its accounts and the shares began trading again. In December, Daniel Stewart lost its licence to act as an AIM nominated adviser (nomad), meaning it can no longer work on many transactions for clients listed on London's junior market.Wilson, who has been described by the Financial Times as having "a whiff of the scarlet pimpernel" as he flits between London and Asia and did not sit on the broker's board, earned £281,667 in consultancy fees in the year ended 31 March 2014, while the year before he took home a £570,000 fee.On Tuesday, Terry upped his stake in Daniel Stewart sending the firms' shares soaring almost 1,000% from 0.15p to 1.6p.They rose even higher on Wednesday morning before Daniel Stewart revealed Wilson had, following sales on 1 April, sold 23.85m shares and "no longer has a discloseable interest in the company's shares".Terry was ousted from Quindell in November after a controversial share transaction that was referred to by City analysts as "jiggery-pokery" and lacking transparency.Despite several attempts from Sharecast to contact Terry, he remained unavailable for comment.Top Director BuysRoxi Petroleum (RXP) Director name: Mr Kairat Alpamyshovich SatylganovAmount purchased: 39,242,316 @ 7.41p Value: £2,907,856North Atlantic Smaller Companies Inv Trust (NAS) Director name: Mr Christopher H B MillsAmount purchased: 8,879 @ 1,905.00p Value: £169,145Tungsten Corporation (TUNG) Director name: Mr Edmund TruellAmount purchased: 70,000 @ 200.90p Value: £140,630Newmark Security PLC (NWT) Director name: Mr Brian Gordon BeecraftAmount purchased: 3,000,000 @ 2.90p Value: £87,000JPMorgan US Smaller Co.
