Daily Internet's chief executive and chairman bought some shares showing confidence in the web hosting group.Chief executive Christopher Evans purchased 369,485 shares for 1.35p spending a total of £49,88.Evans holds now 19.6m shares, one month after it joined the company following the acquisition of Liverpool-based software provider Q4Ex, where Evans has been the technical director since May.Daily's Internet chairman John Edelson also decided to invest in the company by increasing his stake with 6.32m new shares at an individual price of 1.5p. After spending £94,781 in the transaction, he holds now 27.58m shares.Edelson said last month in an update that management team issues "adversely" affected its trading performance, which meant the full year results will be behind the group's expectations.He wrote at the time that the issues have been resolved by replacing the board with "a stronger team".A major sale of shares in the fashion retailer Asos made the headlines on Thursday.Asos' chief executive Nick Robertson sold £20.2m worth of shares the night before, reportedly in order to pay a "big tax bill".Robertson sold 744,600 shares for a price of 2,716.5p each.
