Compass appoints non-executive directors

(ShareCast News) - Food services firm Compass has appointed two new directors as part of an ongoing review of board membership.Ireena Vittal and Nelson Luiz Costa Silva will join as non-executive directors of the Company, effective immediately, Compass said.Compass said Vittal, an Indian native, will bring a wealth of experience in that market which was an important and emerging market for the food firm.Vittal sat on a number of boards including GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, Titan Company, Tata Industries/Global Beverages, the Indian Hotels Company, WIPRO, Godrej Consumer Products, Axis Bank and Zomato.Nelson had more than 40 years of international experience in mining logistics, aluminium and oil and gas industries.Compass said Sir Ian Robinson's 9 year term of appointment will come to an end on 30 November this year.Shares in Compass were at 0.45% at 1,128p on 0429 BST.
