Cineworld reported total year on year revenue growth of 11.2% in the first 26 weeks of the year, with the movie theatre group buoyed by increasing ticket sales in most of the countries it operates.The FTSE 250 company said it was confident of delivering a full year performance in line with market expectations.Cineworld said in an announcement that Slovakia was the only one of its eight territories which did not record an increase in admission prices across the reporting period.The company, which is due to report interim results on 13 August, said box office revenues were up by 10.9%, while retail revenues jumped 12.9% and ad revenue also lifted.The cinema chain continues to expand with new openings and upgrades of existing sites.Cineworld should benefit from a strong roster of new film releases in the second half of the year, with Star Wars: Episode VII, Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 and the James Bond film Spectre contributing.
