Cashbox administrator sells assets

Deloitte has been appointed as administrator of Cashbox and it has already sold rival cash machines operator InfoCash Cashbox's business and assets. No figure was mentioned for the deal. The acquisition doubles Abingdon-based InfoCash's cash machine estate to more than 5,000 ATMs. It also adds customers, such as Mitchells & Butler, Greene King and Fullers.InfoCash is owned by US-based cash machines manufacturer Triton Systems.Cashbox's rival YourCash obtained legal title to a £1.8m loan note and demanded repayment and that made administration unavoidable. The loan note relates to the settlement of litigation with YourCash, then known as Hanco ATM Systems.
