Cap-XX announces customer order

Supercapacitors maker Cap-XX has announced that a customer has placed orders for additional evaluation units, with delivery planned for the third quarter of this year.The order follows "very encouraging" results from the first test and evaluation samples of its automotive supercapacitor units under its memorandum of understanding with Global Tier-1 auto components company.Chief executive Anthony Kongats said: "We are delighted to have received a follow-on order for automotive supercapacitors under our Tier-1 MoU and are very encouraged by initial feedback from our customer."It said it was also encouraged by initial industry feedback on its recently launched range of Thinline supercapacitors.
