Cairn Energy lifts Indian production

Oil and gas group Cairn Energy continued lifting production at its Indian operations in the third quarter and said the average realised price per barrel of oil was $51.48p.The firm produced its first oil from the Mangala field in Rajasthan on 29 August and said it is now producing about 10,0000 barrels of oil a day.Cairn is also involved in planning activities in Greenland, the Mediterranean and Bangladesh.
