Burford Capital confirms sterling rate for second interim dividend

(Sharecast News) - Finance and asset management firm Burford Capital announced the sterling conversion rate for its previously-declared second interim dividend on Friday.

The AIM-traded firm said the dividend, for the year ended 31 December 2022, was 6.25 US cents per share.

It would be paid on 16 June to shareholders of record as at 26 May.

"For shareholders electing to receive their dividend in pound sterling, the interim dividend is 5.000236p per ordinary share, based on the exchange rate of $1.249941 set on 1 June," the board said in its statement.

At 1317 BST, shares in Burford Capital were up 1.1% at 1,104p.
