BP's Managing Director Iain Conn has joined the board of BT Group as a Non-Executive Director with effect from June 1st.Conn has been with BP since 1986, during which time he served as Chief Executive for three years before taking up his current role in 2007. He will step down from the board of Rolls-Royce in May after nine years as Non-Executive Director."I'm very much looking forward to joining BT," Conn said. It's a very interesting time in the industry as a whole and I am excited about BT's role in it."BT's Chairman, Sir Michael Rake, said: "I am delighted that Iain will be joining BT.
