(Sharecast News) - AIM-listed BlueRock Diamonds said on Tuesday that it sold a 10.22 carat stone in its September sale, yielding $122,888.

Chief executive officer Victor Dingle said Kareevlei "continues to yield highly coveted, quality diamonds" and that as the company's new mine plan develops, it envisages "an increasing number of similar discoveries".

BlueRock owns and operates the Kareevlei diamond mine in the Kimberley region of South Africa.
