Blue Star hooks up with US big hitter

UK investment company Blue Star Capital has formed a strategic partnership with Washington based security and risk management advisory firm Chertoff Group.The Chertoff Group will collaborate with Blue Star performing due diligence on revenue generating opportunities in the home security, defence and intelligence markets. The Chertoff Group was formed by Michael Chertoff, former Secretary of the US Department of Homeland Security.The relationship will allow Blue Star to earn revenue by working with Chertoff to develop a range of emergent ‘high value combined transatlantic solutions’ that are ‘likely to include deployment of both its existing and forthcoming leading edge technology investments.’Chertoff, chairman of the eponymous group, said: ‘I believe there are many areas of opportunity within the Homeland Security, Intelligence and Defence sectors in the UK and mainland Europe where the synergies between Blue Star and the Chertoff Group will provide real value.’
