(Sharecast News) - Be Heard chief executive Peter Scott stood down from his role and left the marketing firm's board on Tuesday.While his resignation was with immediate effect, Scott will remain with Be Heard as a strategic advisor for the next twelve months in order to support the business in its new phase of growth.Simon Pyper, who only joined Be Heard as its CFO back in May 2018, will take on the role of interim CEO, while Ben Rudman, co-founder of MMT Digital, was tapped to become the AIM-listed group's chief operating officer and newest board member.The outgoing chief executive said: "I am delighted that my initial vision to create a multi-faceted digital marketing business has been realised in the Be Heard Group today.""As the business moves into a new phase, focusing on an integrated offer from its five partner agencies, it is the right time for me to hand the baton on to new leadership," Scott added.As of 1420 BST, Be Heard shares had climbed 4.93% to 1.13p.
