(Sharecast News) - Commerce platform Bango announced a new deal with Japan employee benefits provider Benefit One on Wednesday.

The AIM-traded firm said the partnership would see its 'Digital Vending Machine' technology used to offer subscription services to employees in Japan that use the Benefit One platform.

It said the deal would expand its Digital Vending Machine to a new vertical beyond telco, and onboard a new customer to the Bango platform.

That, it said, would allow Bango's merchant partners to reach new customers in Japan and generate additional annual recurring revenue.

The Benefit One platform would allow employers to offer subscription services to employees from April.

"We're excited to work with Benefit One to add the latest and greatest subscription services to their range of member benefits," said Bango's Andy Suzuki.

"Bango technology takes away the complexity and makes it as easy as possible to get to market fast with the products and services members really want."

At 1534 GMT, shares in Bango were up 2.79% at 228.7p.
