BAE Systems has appointed Jerry DeMuro as President and Chief Executive of the UK-based defence, security and aerospace company's US subsidiary.DeMurom, who was Executive Vice President and Corporate Vice President for the Information Systems and Technology group at General Dynamics, will succeed Linda Hudson when she retires on February 1st. Chairman Richard Olver, said: "We are pleased that Jerry DeMuro will be joining the BAE Systems board and welcome the knowledge and experience that he will bring to our future deliberations."Ian King, Chief Executive Officer of BAE's group, added: "We are pleased Jerry has joined the company to lead our business based in the US. His experience will be of immense benefit as the company strives to maintain its strong performance in the US core defence market and increase its focus on new international and commercial opportunities."
