Avanti wins broadband contract in Spain

Avanti Communications has been appointed by Quantis to supply a broadcast deployment for the Aragon Government in Spain.As part of the contract, Avanti will deliver high-speed broadband via satellite to Quantis's consumers.The signal will deliver broadcast capabilities for TV and radio channels including Aragon, Aragón Radio and Aragón 2 HD.Avanti's chief executive David Williams said the contract extends the group's power of its distribution platform."We are now partner to some the world's largest broadcasters, providing services with unparalleled levels of quality and flexibility," Williams added.Shares closed up 2.49% to 216p on Thursday.
