Internet fashion retailer ASOS continues to see sales soar as it consolidates its position in the UK and makes strong inroads abroad.Sales in the three months to September 30 rose by 47% from the same period a year ago to £69.7m. UK sales were up 21% to £43.7m while international sales rose by 128% to £26m.ASOS, which sells clothes made fashionable by celebrities (the name stands for 'As Seen on Screen'), has been launching country-specific websites as it seeks to emulate its huge success in the UK elsewhere.'Our US website launched during September and we expect to be live with both our French and German websites by the end of October 2010,' said chief executive Nick Robertson. 'With retail gross margin ahead of prior year and costs tightly managed, we expect our full year results to be in line with market expectations.'
