Anite, a provider of testing systems for wireless companies, reported stronger than expected first-half profit and increased its dividend after a recovery in its two main markets.Chief executive Christopher Humphrey said the group witnessed a, "Strong recovery in both Handsets and Networks...with profits and revenues exceeding the board's prior expectations."Anite's half year results were boosted after several deals were concluded at the end of October that had been expected to complete in the early weeks of the second half," the company said in a statement.Pre-tax profit surged to £6.5m for the six months ended 31 October from £2.5m the year before period. Revenue rose 20% to £42.3m.Anite has offered an interim dividend of 0.315p, up 5% from last time.
