Anglo American completes sale of Tarmac Building Products

Mining behemoth Anglo American has completed the sale of Tarmac Building Products to Lafarge Tarmac after receiving regulatory approval.The completion comes after the group said back in November that it had reached a deal on the sale to Lafarge, which is a 50/50 joint venture between it and Anglo American's construction materials and services businesses. The terms of the transaction were not given. Tarmac Building Products supplies heavy building products, including construction blocks, bagged aggregates and cement products. Anglo's share price moved 0.38% higher to 1,583p by 14:17 Wednesday. NR
