Amplats to pay out special dividend ahead of demerger

(Sharecast News) - Anglo American Platinum is paying shareholders an extra £680m cash dividend ahead of its planned spinoff into a standalone unit by June this year, the company said on Monday.

The payout is in addition to the final dividend of 3 rand per share ahead of its plan to demerge from parent company Anglo American.
