(ShareCast News) - Amino Technologies, an internet solution provider to entertainment broadband operators, won a software licensing contract to provide its Enable TV device software to Hong Kong multimedia company, PCCW Media.The contract will allow Enable TV to support PCCW Media's drive to deliver a new 4K UHD experience via Now TV, its new service, to support applications for information and customer service.PCCW Media launched Now One, an integrated 4K UHD all in one set top box which provides a single source for home entertainment, applications and recordings.The AIM-listed company said during the year, PCCW Media will roll out a range of 4K content such as sports content, Netflix's 4K titles, and other variety shows, drama series and documentary features, on Now One.Amino chief executive, Donald McGarva, said: "PCCW Media is one of the most advanced and sophisticated service providers in the world and we're delighted to be supporting them as they deliver this market leading and innovative service to their customers."We have worked very closely with PCCW Media to develop a common, robust and scalable platform that combines hybrid TV, IPTV, Android apps and key customer support functionality."Senior vice president of technology and operations at PCCW Media, Belinda Chan, said: "As the largest pay-TV and a leading OTT service provider in Hong Kong, Now TV understands customer needs and continually innovates to meet customers' different viewing habits."Amino's Enable TV and its professional development team provide strong support to PCCW Media, creating a unique and powerful platform for today and future service innovations.
