Admiral names Mumsnet.com co-founder as director

(ShareCast News) - Shares in insurance group Admiral are up almost 1% after it appointed Mumsnet co-founder and chief executive Justine Roberts to its board as an independent non-executive director.Mumsnet.com is UK's biggest online network for parents, having grown into a national brand with political and retail clout thanks to its substantial and devoted membership. The website has a section devoted to money matters, including insurance.Roberts was behind the web community's creation, strategic direction and overall management, building it into one of the most recognisable internet brands in the UK.At 11:56 BST, shares in Admiral were up 0.7% to 1860p.
