(ShareCast News) - Acal, a supplier of customised electronics to industry, has appointed Malcolm Diamond as non-executive chairman from 1 April 2017.He will take over from Richard Moon, who will step down at the end of March next year, having performed the role since April 2005.Diamond has been non-executive director on the company's board since 1 November 2015. He will resign as member of the Audit committee once he assumed his role as chairman, but will become chairman of the nomination committee and a member of the remuneration committee.Non-Executive Chairman Richard Moon said: "I am delighted that the Acal Board has appointed Malcolm Diamond to succeed me as Chairman.
