The share price of ZOO Digital surged on Wednesday morning after the cloud-based media services group won a contract with the BBC and said annual sales would be ahead of last year.BBC Worldwide has selected AIM-listed ZOO to provide new subtitling and captioning services for its global operations in a deal that will begin this month. No financial information was given regarding the contract.Separately, the company said revenues for the year ending 31 March 2015 would show an improvement on the previous year. However, second-half sales would be lower than the first half's $6.93m due to seasonality of projects in the entertainment industry and disruptions within a major customer.Nevertheless, ZOO said: "Demand for the group's subtitling software and services is strengthening both in the US and UK, evidenced by today's BBC Worldwide contract win."The stock was up nearly 18% at 9.85p by 08:40 in London.
