Wizz Air passenger numbers up 20%

(ShareCast News) - Budget airline Wizz Air has lifted passenger numbers by 20% for July compared with the same period in 2014.The FTSE 250 listed airline had 1.97m passengers in July this year, up from 1.64m passengers in July 2014.Wizz Air increased its load factor, which counts how close it gets to full capacity, by 1.1% points to 92.7% from 91.6%.The central and eastern European airline said in the rolling 12 months to 31 July 2015, passenger numbers were up by 20% to 17.64m.
