(ShareCast News) - Shares in Windar Photonics are up almost 10% after it confirmed a repeat order for four units of its four-beam WindVision LiDAR sensor. The order was from a French IPP that operated a fleet of wind-turbine generators totalling 77MW in that country."Lately, we have seen an increasing interest in our unique wake detection capabilities from both IPPs and OEMs," said interim CEO Jorgen Korsgaard Jensen."This will be our fourth commercial partner to join the program and over the coming months we expect to expand the program to between eight to ten commercial partners."The technology group said the direct turbine control integration of the LIDAR sensors would be undertaken by the customer on Vestas V112 3MW wind turbines during Q1.It added that direct integration enabled the wind turbine to further enhance the energy production and lifetime of the turbine, while reducing excessive load cycles and costs associated with lost operating time.At 13:12 GMT, shares in AIM-quoted Windar were up 9.34% to 99.5p each.
