(Sharecast News) - Next week will bring a deluge of UK corporate news including results from the likes of Vodafone and Burberry, and the latest UK and eurozone GDP figures.
On Monday, interim results are due from Kainos, while Kingspan will put out a trading update. On the macro front, German trade figures for September will be among the highlights.
On Tuesday, investors will eye first-half results from Vodafone, Oxford Instruments and DCC Energy, and trading updates from Watches of Switzerland and Princes Group. In the US, quarterly results from CoreWeave will be released.
BRC like-for-like retail sales figures for October will be in focus, along with Chinese trade figures for October and the US consumer price index for October.
Wednesday will bring trading updates from broadcaster ITV, Spirax Group and housebuilder Taylor Wimpey, along with half-year results from pub chain Fuller, Smith & Turner and a trading update from Conduit Re.
AJ Bell analysts Russ Mould, Danni Hewson and Dan Coatsworth, said: "Like the entire housebuilding industry, Taylor Wimpey has been on increasingly shaky foundations in 2026 as the Iran conflict and resulting spike in energy prices upended hopes for a gradual retreat in borrowing costs through the course of the year.
"Instead, mortgages are becoming less affordable, and input costs are rising, putting pressure on margins. The state backed Your First Home scheme is a welcome boost, but the Budget revealed it isn't coming until April, and this could potentially delay demand as first-time buyers wait for its launch before making their property purchase.
"Having signalled a second-half weighting to the year in terms of completions, investors will want evidence this is coming through and will be watchful of any downgrades given the difficult market backdrop.
"Considering the sector headwinds Taylor Wimpey is facing, investors will want to see that the balance sheet is robust enough to cope. They will also be looking for an update on levels of demand seen in recent weeks and for guidance on how the company sees things shaping up in the remainder of the year."
On the macroeconomic calendar, the German consumer price index for October will be among the highlights.
On Thursday, there will be a raft of corporate news for investors to sink their teeth into, with first-half results due from 3i Group, B&M, luxury fashion brand Burberry, Premier Foods, Qinetiq, Syncona, United Utilities, Wizz Air and Volex, and preliminary results from WH Smith.
Investors will also eye third-quarter results from Endeavour Mining and trading updates from housebuilder Persimmon, engine maker Rolls-Royce, Keller and Kier. Across the pond, quarterly results from Cisco will be out.
On the macro front, the first estimate of Q3 UK GDP will be released, along with monthly industrial and manufacturing production, construction output, trade balance and preliminary business investment figures.
In the US, the latest initial jobless claims and existing home sales will be in focus.
Friday will see the release of first-half results from Land Securities. Investors will also turn their attention to preliminary third-quarter eurozone GDP figures and trade data for September. In the US, the producer price index for October will be released.
