Week Ahead: Travelodge rebirth could prove bothersome for Whibread

After a strong second quarter, albeit abetted by one-off boosts, Whitbread might have found the third quarter tougher going, given that it revealed that trading had become variable on a month-by-month basis."We think that the Travelodge CVA [company voluntary arrangement] will lead to a stronger competitor to Premier Inn with a more consistent product and even more competitive pricing.
