(Sharecast News) - US private sector employers added an average of 4,750 jobs per week in the four weeks to 22 November, according to a weekly update of the ADP National Employment report.
The figure is based on a four-week moving average.
Data released by ADP last week showed that the private sector shed 32,000 jobs in the month of November, while pay rose 4.4% year-over-year. The October total of jobs added was revised from 42,000 to 47,000.
The goods-producing sector lost 19,000 jobs, while the service sector saw a 13,000 decline.
