Ubisense Group secures $0.5m deal

AIM-listed Ubisense Group, a real-time location intelligence company, on Monday won a $0.5m deal with an unnamed agricultural equipment manufacturer.Under the deal, Ubisense will install its "smart factory" process tracking system in one of the manufacturer's European plants. The group said there was "significant potential" to extend the deployment within this plant and across the 14 other manufacturing plants the operator has worldwide.Ubisense's chief executive, Richard Green, added: "The proven return on interest it generates continues to drive the adoption of our market leading solutions and gives us increasing confidence that we can continue to expand within this particular customer's extensive international manufacturing operations and across our existing global blue chip customer base."Shares were down 1.16% to 171p on Monday.JF
