TyraTech will expand its Vamousse distribution network in the UK after announcing new deals with Lloyds Pharmacy and Day Lewis Pharmacy.The chains will join Boots, Superdrug, Sainsbury, Tesco and Rowlands in stocking the head lice treatment and protection products."Increasing the physical distribution points is particularly important for head lice products that tend to be emergency purchases. Customers need to be able to find the products close to home in order to solve their head lice problems as fast as possible," the company said.Day Lewis' 200 outlets began stocking the range in January, while Lloyds' 1,600 will begin stocking in March.The brand recently won awards from the Independent Community Pharmacy magazine for its advertising campaign, which the company admitted was central to its commercial success, alongside endorsements from practicing pharmacists."We are delighted to announce these new listings for our Vamousse treatment and preventative products, taking us initially into more than 1,300 new distribution points in the UK from March 2015," TyraTech chief executive Bruno Jactel said in a statement."We are confident of continued positive developments as our comprehensive UK distribution platform reaps the benefits of our highly engaging and effective marketing campaign," he added.TyraTech shares were up 2.22% at 5.75p Wednesday midday.
