Tempus in the Times likes Aberdeen Asset Management. It's grown its AUM (assets under management) figure both through deals, and latterly through organic growth and has now made it into the FTSE 100. Recent performance has been so strong (AUM: £184.7m, 9% up over the last six months) that Tempus suggests holding, then buying on weakness.Recruitment firm Harvey Nash also gets some kind words in the Times. Better-than-expected revenues in Britain and Ireland, plus exposure to the safer European economies like Sweden and Denmark mean the company is doing pretty well, in a difficult period. The US was the main weak spot but techie recruitment around Seattle is still impressive and with the shares trading on just nine times forward earnings, Tempus thinks Harvey Nash is a buy.In the Telegraph, Questor stays loyal to pharma giant GlaxoSmithKline. Pre-tax profits fell in the first quarter to £1.9bn from £2.5bn in the prior year. But GSK is still in the hunt for a company called Human Genome Sciences, which could net revenues from an anthrax treatment. Questor argues global demographic trends militate in favour of having pharma stocks in your portfolio and with GSK trading at 11.5 times forward earnings, the shares remain a buy. Please note: Digital Look provides a round-up of news, tips and information that is impacting share prices and the market.
