A handful of airline groups will release their latest traffic statistics on Tuesday including International Consolidated Airlines (IAG), easyJet and Aer Lingus.IAG, the parent company of British Airways, will report its December traffic statistics while Europe's easyJet and Ireland's Aer Lingus will release full-year results. In November IAG unveiled that it had carried 26.8% more passengers than a year earlier. Revenue per passenger also rose by 1.6%. However, the passenger load factor fell 0.8 percentage points.Budget airline easyJet is expected to announce that it carried nearly 4.4m passengers in December, up more than 3%, according to the Mail on Sunday. Its capacity is tipped to have been 89% full over the month and, on a rolling 12-month basis, it is likely to have carried about 61m passengers in the past year.
