(Sharecast News) - Out-of-hospital service provider Totally announced on Wednesday that its wholly-owned subsidiary About Health, a provider of community-based outpatient and referral management services, has been awarded a three-year contract with an option to extend by a further two years by the NHS Blackpool and NHS Fylde & Wyre Clinical Commissioning Groups.The AIM-traded company said the contract was valued at £721,088 per annum.Under the deal, which was awarded following a competitive tender process, About Health would deliver Tier 2 Community Dermatology Services to the clinical commissioning groups, effective from 1 November."I am thrilled that we have been awarded this contract which is testament to our continued ability and dedication to providing high quality and good value services to patients," said About Health chief executive officer Richard Benson."We remain focused on the growth and development of About Health's community dermatology offering throughout the UK, building on our existing portfolio of contracts."Wendy Lawrence, CEO of Totally, added that the group was "delighted" that About Heath had secured the contract with the clinical commissioning groups, calling it the latest in a series of "significant" wins."We are extremely pleased to see hard work and dedication across the group continuing to translate into success, supporting the group's ambitions of becoming a leading provider of out-of-hospital care and the partner of choice for the NHS," Lawrence said.
