(Sharecast News) - Healthcare services provider Totally has been awarded a new contract worth up to £850,000, its largest to date.
Totally said on Monday that its wholly-owned subsidiary, a specialist business providing insourcing services to the healthcare sector in the UK and Ireland, had been awarded a contract that would see it provide endoscopy procedures to six hospitals run by the Saolta Group in Galway, Republic of Ireland.

The AIM-listed firm stated it will help the hospitals to shorten patient waiting lists, beginning in July and running until March 2022.

Chief executive Wendy Lawrence said: "The pandemic has put immense pressure on the UK and Ireland's healthcare sector and, as a result, there are significant numbers of patients awaiting treatment.

"Totally Healthcare was launched specifically to address this issue and to reduce waiting lists in trusts and hospitals across the UK and Ireland by utilising their spare capacity outside of normal working hours and weekends. The business has made significant strides since its launch in October 2019 and now, further to this new contract in the Republic of Ireland, Totally Healthcare is also operating across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland."

As of 0845 BST, Totally shares were up 4.10% at 39.82p.
