(Sharecast News) - Healthcare services provider Totally's urgent care division has been awarded a number of contract extensions worth a total of roughly £17.8m.
Totally said on Tuesday that of the contracts, awarded to its wholly-owned Vocare and Greenbrook Healthcare subsidiaries, six were for the continued provision of a number of urgent treatment centres located in North West London for six months from 1 April until 30 September and equate to about £12.5m.

Chief executive Wendy Lawrence said: "We are very pleased to announce further contract extensions within our urgent care division as we continue to strengthen our partnership with the NHS. As always, these extensions are a great reflection of the work our staff are doing in delivering quality care to the high standards required by commissioners.

"We are proud to remain the incumbent provider of these services and look forward to identifying further ways in which we can work together with commissioners in order to provide patients with additional benefits, whilst continuing to adapt to the continually evolving integrated urgent care demands of the NHS."

As of 0925 BST, Totally shares were up 2.95% at 31.40p.
