Totally acquires About Health, posts narrower FY loss

(ShareCast News) - Healthcare services provider Totally has acquired About Health Ltd for up to £7.7m, at the same time booking a full year pre-tax loss of £0.41m, from a loss of £0.44m.The company, whose revenue fell to £0.58m, from £0.61m, said the deal would be earnings enhancing with both revenue and profit growth potential.About Health is a provider of community-based health services under contract to the NHS, and is a specialist in the provision of dermatology and patient-referral management services.Initial consideration was £1.83m, funded from cash resources, with the deferred element being wholly based on About Health's financial performance.Commenting on the results, chief executive Wendy Lawrence said Totally's future strategy would be delivered by way of organic growth and acquisitions.At 11:56 BST, shares in Totally were down 5.4% to 52.5p.
