Thursday preview: LSE and Land Securities report finals

London Stock Exchange (LSE) is expected to report annual underlying profit growth of 13 per cent on Thursday following the integration of London Clearing House (LCH) Clearnet, according to Numis.Numis noted that the LSE has undergone significant change following the inclusion of LCH last year."The improvement in primary markets has been significant and we expect a 75% increase in admission fees through the second half of the year," the broker said. "Overall we expect post trade revenues to increase 127% in the year to March."Fellow FTSE 100 company Land Securities will also report its finals. Net asset value is projected to rise by 11% with strong uplift from recently completed developments."We expect further re-shaping the portfolio and look for news on potential new development, rather than a shift to focus on acquisition led growth," Numis added. Following the earnings session will be a final report on Eurozone inflation which is expected to confirm consumer prices rose to a 0.7% year-on-year rate in April, compared to 0.5% in the prior month. Despite the increase, it remains well below the European Central Bank's (ECB) 2% target, adding pressure on the monetary authority to change its policy.
