There needs to be a debate on banks' capital requirement, BoE's Haldane says

(ShareCast News) - There needs to be a debate on whether banks' capital requirements should be higher even if they will be ten times higher than before the crisis, Bank of England chief economist Andy Haldane said in comments posted to the internet.He was speaking via the Bank's official Twitter channel.Also worth noting, Haldane said Bank was open to discussing if "market changes" which had reduced financial market liquidity had "gone too far".
