Share trading in IT services provider Morse sparked a rise in its price just before 3pm. Before that the shares had been unchanged. There were three parcels of 20,000 shares acquired at 43p a share. These were all automated trades through SETS.In a recent trading statement, Morse said it expects to report first half adjusted EBIT from continuing operations of around £3.6m, a three-fold increase on the year before. Revenues in the six months ended 31 December 2009 are expected to be marginally higher than in the second half, the group said and in line with the second half of 2008.Shares in aerospace group Meggitt have been falling throughout the day. There have been a number of sales in the £15,000-£25,000 range, although the biggest trade is a buy worth £63,750. Last October, Meggitt said that there were signs of the civil aircraft aftermarket stabilising. Air traffic was showing signs of recovery. The outlook for the military business remains positive.
