(Sharecast News) - Stamp and collectibles business Stanley Gibbons said on Wednesday that chief financial officer Andrew Cook will step down on 29 March to pursue other interests.A formal process to appoint a replacement has begun, with both internal and external candidates being considered. In the meantime, the group's chief operating officer, Anthony Gee, will act in a non-board position as interim chief finance officer. Chartered accountant Gee has been at the company for six years.Non-executive chairman Harry Wilson said: "This change comes at a natural time as the business moves out of its recovery and restructuring phase and into building for the future. I would like to thank Andy for his outstanding contribution over the three years since he joined Stanley Gibbons."It is largely as a result of his hard work that the group has been able to overcome the issues that it faced and we wish him well in his new endeavours."
