St James's Place hires Prudential's Manduca as chairman

(Sharecast News) - St James's Place has recruited Prudential's Paul Manduca to replace Iain Cornish as its chairman.
Manduca will join St James's Place's board as chair designate on 1 January and takeover from Cornish at the 2021 annual general meeting. Manduca has been Prudential's chairman since 2012 and is due to step down at the end of December.

Cornish joined the wealth adviser's board in 2011 and became chairman in 2018. Manduca is an investment industry veteran whose past jobs include setting up and running Threadneedle Asset Management and chief executive of Rothschild Asset Management.

Roger Yates, St James's Place's senior independent director, said: "I am delighted that our thorough search process has resulted in the selection of Paul Manduca as our next chair. He has extensive boardroom experience across the financial services sector and his expertise will be invaluable to St James's Place."
