Spanish court finds in favour of Iberia Express

Spain´s top tribunal has declared null and void the court ruled arbitration which brought the conflict between Iberia -IAG´s Spanish subsidiary- and its main pilots union -SEPLA- to a premature end. The results of the above intermediation had been appealed by Iberia´s own low-cost subsidiary Iberia Express. For the tribunal´s members that previous arbitration between Iberia and its pilots is null and void given that Iberia Express was at no point involved in the consultations. This despite the fact that the subsidiary´s continuing existence had been at the core of the dispute from the start.As of 16:03 shares of IAG are rising by 0.7% to 170.3p. AB
