Miner Sirius Minerals said there had been no surprises so far in response to its planning applications for a controversial new potash mine in north-east England, boosting its shares.Sirius said consultation responses to the applications for the York Potash project were appearing on websites of the relevant local authorities on an ongoing basis and now included a number of key statutory responses."On an initial review of these responses, the company does not believe anything unexpected has been submitted," Sirius said in a statement."These will be reviewed in detail and any clarifications sought from the relevant consultees. Once this review has been completed, and the company has consulted with the local authorities, a short update statement will be provided to the market."Shares in Sirius rose 0.6p or 6% to 10.5p at 15:47 in London.
