(ShareCast News) - Potash development group Sirius Minerals has announced that Chris Catlow and Peter Woods have left their role as non-executive directors, as the company continues to restructure its boardIn a short statement released on Monday, the London-listed group said that as part of its preparation to achieve its medium-term goal of moving to a main market listing, it had moved towards strengthening the group's corporate governance.Catlow and Woods will be replaced by two new UK-based independent non-executive directors, Noel Harwerth and Jane Lodge, Sirius said, adding that the board now boasted a greater percentage of independent directors."Chris and Peter have played integral roles in the recent development of Sirius and on behalf of the entire Company I would like to offer both of them our sincere thanks for their contributions," said group chairman Russel Scrimshaw."Noel and Jane bring a wealth of experience to the board, both in terms of industry and corporate governance, and I look forward to their contribution to the company during the next phases of its development."Sirius shares were up 1.80% to 17.56p at 0959 BST on Monday.
