Sirius Minerals purchases land for york potash project

Sirius Minerals has purchased Dove's Nest Farm near Sneaton, Whitby for its york potash project. The farm is the site of the proposed shafts and sub-surface processing buildings for the project. The deal comprises 100 acres of freehold ownership and includes farm buildings, the farmhouse and three separate holiday accommodation units. The farm will remain occupied and operational in advance of required approvals."There is no greater evidence of our determination to achieve the approval and completion of this project than our purchase of Dove's Nest farm, the proposed location of the mine," said Managing Director, Chris Fraser. Shares were down 0.57% to 8.75p at 09:30 on Friday.RD
