Support services group Serco has renewed and expanded its contract for air traffic services at Dubai International Airport. The new contract is valued at £245m over a longer period of ten years. Under the new agreement, Serco is responsible for a key range of core services to ensure the smooth flow of aircraft in the airspace around the airport and on the ground. Serco has provided services to Dubai for more than 40 years.Services being provided include aerodrome and approach radar services and a new 3D 360-degree air traffic control tower simulator to help procedures.
