Science in Sport, a sports nutrition company, appointed a new director as part of its growth strategy.Raymond Duignan will join the board next month as a non-executive director, bringing "extensive" experience in the consumer industry.Duignan set up Stamford Partners, a specalist investment bank, in the 1990s and holds roles at Finsbury Food Group and Newton Eureop. Previously, he was also a member of the board at Tate & Lyle.Science in Sport's chief executive said: "Raymond has extensive experience of consumer industries and we look forward to his input as we further advance our growth strategy."Shares closed down 2.17% to 63.1p on Thursday.
